Approximately 90% of the practice of The Griffin Firm's Dallas office is devoted to Family Law matters. The remaining cases in this office pertain to Entertainment Law.

KEITH GRIFFIN has been representing clients in Texas Family Law matters for more than 30 years, and has been Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 1979. His experience includes litigation of both complex and simple community property issues, as well as numerous child custody and visitation matters. He understands the emotional challenges facing clients in these cases, and works hard to help the clients balance their emotions with the need to reach a satisfactory and rational legal conclusion. Because the firm limits its number of cases, he also is able to give personal attention to each of his clients.

Mr. Griffin's years of experience in the Family Law area have caused him to believe strongly that clients - and their children -are best served when settlement agreements are reached in these matters. To this end, he has received training in negotiation from Dr. Roger Fisher (the author of Getting to Yes) at the Harvard Law School Program of Instruction for Lawyers and ultimately settles satisfactorily most of his cases. However, sometimes negotiations fail. When that occurs, Mr. Griffin is also an experienced and proficient litigator who has spent over thirty years in the heat of battle in the courtroom. He prides himself on his trial preparation, his advocacy skills and his knowledge of the law.

One of Mr. Griffin's proudest accomplishments is to have had his fellow Texas attorneys bestow upon him Martindale-Hubbel's AV Peer Review Rating, its highest ranking.

Mr. Griffin bills his Family Law services at the rate of $350.00 per hour. The firm requires an initial engagement fee of $3,000.00 to $7,500.00 in Family Law matters, depending on the type of case.
