Keith Griffin, the owner of the firm, has undergraduate and law degrees from The University of Texas at Austin.
He has been practicing law since 1971, is licensed in Texas and New York, and is an AV Preeminent rated lawyer, an honor enjoyed by only 5% of the nation’s attorneys.
He was Board Certified in Family Law for thirty-five years (from 1979 through 2014), and is highly regarded as an expert in family law matters.

Mr. Griffin has been a long-standing member of the State Bar of Texas, the New York Bar Association, and the Dallas Bar Association.

KEITH GRIFFIN has been representing clients in Texas family law cases for more than 40 years. He is experienced in both complex and simple marital property issues. He has also handled numerous child custody and visitation matters. For the last several years, he has been recognized as one of the leading attorneys in Texas in same-sex family law cases, and has spoken on these issues to law students at both the University of Texas Law School in Austin, and the Southern Methodist University Law School. Mr. Griffin is known for his compassion for his clients and his passion for his work. He understands the emotional challenges facing his clients, and works hard to help them balance their emotions with the need to reach a satisfactory and rational conclusion to their case.Mr. Griffin is an accomplished negotiator, having studied and received training at the Harvard Law School Negotiation Project.
